The Show started with Shiro-something Jo telling us the rules of the concert... The stage was basically a huge castle in a winter forest. The center of the stage used the big screen for his eyes and the stairs (which also was a screen) for his mouth. The left side of the stage was white trees and the right side was 4 different castle tiers. There was a tiny screen at the top of the castle that usually had the eito sign or the name of the song they were singing at the time. They used carts a lot (the giant ones with the screens were decorated with snowflakes) the side stages (at the 1st and 3rd bases) were cherry pickers and they had huge inflatable hands (the castle's hands) coming out of them... the backstage was in the eito shape, and were two seperate rotating stages. They used the carts and the giant moving plexiglass stage that came out from the mainstage to get there.
The opening VTR was a cartoon version of them and I cant remember exactly how it went, but each of them were picking up their instruments from the forest.
ローリング・コースタ - Yay for starting of the concert with a band song! It was like they were picking up where they left off for Puzzle because this was the last song of the main set for that con.

video clip with a King in the castle watching tv... amaaaazingly funny. Maru as a up and coming Korean-crossover-J-pop-star being interviewed by Yoko... then sumo subaru came onscreen... and it was the same as red ranger... but it continued on to show his opponent, and their match... and his opponent was Ryo!! He was so funny and super into it with his bangs tied up (the way tegoshi likes it) slapping (and hurting) himself, preparing to battle Subaru-sumo. Then, all of a sudden Korean-crossover-J-pop-star Maru comes in as the "ref" and gets heated, and rips off his shirt.... it was random, but well appreciated. These were mixed in with the king switching channels between these shows, a strange dark indian, ROMES, and i dont remember a Hina clip, but there had to be one.
急☆上☆show！！-they came out in the PV outfits with their guitars from under the main stage's stair case, and it was almost perfectly in sync with the PV. Then they made their way on the giant moving plexiglass stage (the one that Arashi often uses) over the center of the arena to the backstage.

∞They started thanking us, and talking about how happy they were to be able to do this CD live. And Yasu was like, how many years has it been since we've done it? And the other guys were like, uh... this is the first time we have ever done it.
∞Then, Yoko starts complaining hahaha. They showed an MStation performance and he complained about how Okura shook his hair out in Yoko's face on live TV and it threw him off.
∞And then during "Kimi no Uta wo Utao" at the end, they throw their top hats back to the Jrs... but Okura threw his up straight in the air, and it hit Yoko on the head. hahahahahahaha. I totally didn't see it. *sad face*
∞Then he talked about MSSL and running in with AKIBA48 (yes, he said AKIBA not AKB haha). He said that he was super nervous because they all came at him at once, and that he wasn't used to being surrounded buy a lot of girls... and then the guys were like, well, what about now? And he said it was different than now because there is distance between him and us. So he got super nervous when they came at him, Okura, and Maru and Okura goes, "Yoko, what are you going to do!? You're heart's racing isn't it!?" Apparently, Yoko has a thing for one of the girls in the group.... and then he runs to Akanishi to taddle on Okura, and Akanishi calls Yoko over when he is by AKB. hahaha.
∞Yoko said that when Hina saw AKB, he was like "THERE ARE SO MANY!!!" and Ryo was like, "You can't say that." and was like, "THERE AREN'T A LOT!" then Yoko said that it made him think that Eito didn't have enough members looking at AKB.
∞They then move on to talk about how loud Okura's voice is... especially when he has delicious food. When they went to Guam, they were eating at a breakfast buffet and at the end when Okura was full, he turned to this older couple that was sitting next to him and said, "I am SO FULL!!!!" Subaru said he felt bad for them... plus the people didn't understand Japanese.
∞One day, Yoko and Maru ate out together, and Maru had curry rice with curry bread.
∞ They also talked about all of their families and how a few of them would be coming to see the concert. Shota's family was coming... Okura said his brother is coming and that he didnt want to say if his dad was come because he is very recognizable now... and they talked about how his dad is on Youtube. I think Yoko is the only one that said he wasnt having a family member come for sure.
∞They were talking about all the TV shows that they did this year... Kampani, Room Zero.... and Ryo said that everyone has probably watched it on Youtube. hahaha. And Yoko was like, "You do!?" Then they asked who doesn't have a computer, who does, who has one at their house, who doesn't have a cell phone, who doesn't have a home phone. And then Maru asked a random irrelevant question, as always. hahahaha.
∞And then Yoko said, "thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules..."
∞They talked about Otoshidama (lucky money envelopes usually given to kids) and he was worried about giving it because he doesnt have any money and that there were 77 Jrs. that were working with them. And Okura and Hina were saying that Yoko should give it to them because he is the oldest and the Leader. hahaha. But he said he wasn't afraid to "dogeza" down to them. Then they pimped the pouch envelopes. And they closed the MC introducing Shibutani Subaru and Yasuda Shota's song...
desire - the two guys stood on the main stage and were surrounded by atmospheric smoke. Yasu was on the right wearing a pair of thick rimmed fly shaped black rim glasses, a blue vest cardigan thin over white and Subaru was on the left wearing a phedora and gray. I kinda thought Yasu's mic could've been turned up a bit more (throughout most of the night) but it was nice to see this song live.
torn - I LOVE this performance on the DVD... so to see it live, with Ryo starting on the cart by my side of the arena and Okura on the far side and with the special sexy shirtless VTR on the big screens... They made it to the backstage to do the dance part towards the later half of the song.
ワンシャン・ロンピン - So, the dark indian... ended up being Maru.. good times. hahaha. His solo was extra cute as he came out in a pimp UtaOni outfit, it was very fluffy and colorful. He was surrounded by all the Jrs. so it was really cute. I was shocked, but excited, that this started playing out instead of Hoshii mono wa. At the end of the song one of the Jrs. get hastled by the Tiger, and then he said he wished someone would help him clean his clothes so his mom didn't get mad at him for getting it dirty when he fell....
Babunman - So, from the Puzzle Dokkiri... Hina did teh Babun song in the bubble blowing outfit with the nasu-colored cowboy hat. It was epic. There were bubbles everywhere around the backstage. It was so much fun to watch this song because there's audience participation, and you know that everyone has seen the dokkiri, so we all knew what to chime in with.
413man - This opened up with the cartoon version of the guys, and then Yoko's character is left... and then they show his hand come out, and a hand holding a cane reaching... then show cartoon Yoko and his cartoon Grandpa... I think I started crying at this point. The other guys helped out with Yoko's song playing for him... it was cute cuz Maru and Hina were still in their solo outfits... yep, Babun was playing keyboards. I don't think there was a dry eye in the crowd.
Jrs. Medley... Hey!Say! West, BAD, BOYS, and the Kansai Jrs. did a medley right after Yoko's solo... i was a bit bummed that they didn't do some kind of emotional song, or pick up after 413man, cuz it threw off the flow of emotions of the con, but I guess it helped us snap back into concert mode cheering on the Jrs.
Snow White - For this, there was a message onscreen asking everyone to turn their penlights off... some of the girls sitting in the sections closest to the stage didn't see the message... so it was kinda weird to have only the side sections with their penlights on. The song starts with a VTR of Ryo walking out on a balcony sort of thing over a busy street then he lights a match, they zoom in on the flame, and the song starts. At the end of the song, the VTR starts again and the match burns out, then he throws it on to the ground in a pile of other burnt out matches.

They started the show in Leopard and black suits... then red outfits (hina was the first one to change during the opening MC), there were white outfits, Kyu!Jo!Show outfits, and black sparkly outfits as well. For the encores they all wore the concert T-shirts and their first name initial was written on the back of them. Okura had his hair cut, and he looked really good. Subaru wore his hair up for the ending part of the concert. He also cried at some point, i think it was either for Hitotsu no Uta or Fuyu Koi because I remember them coming out again and he said he was "moved (感動した.)" During one of the winter songs Minus 100, they showed footage of all of the guys writing messages on paper, and Hina wrote "THANKS SHINGO", Subaru wrote "eightあいしてる。すばる eighter" and Ryo wrote a NOVEL, and at the end of it, wrote "I love you like a fat kid loves cake" I think those papers were made into the "snow" for the song Yuki wo Kudasai.
The concert was around 3 hours and 15 minutes last night.
The goods were pretty cute. I LOVE the mug. The pamphlet is cute because they ask you what you are doing at 11:59:59. It shows each of the guys doing different things before the new year... and then in the back it features special Japanese games that are done around this time. the uchiwa are super cute, too. I think everyone would agree with me that Yasu's is a must buy. I saw almost every girl buying one. The T-shirt has their faces printed on it... I was kinda disappointed that the blanket didn't have a logo on it besides the tag. the shoppin bag.... i swear its orange, but my friend insists its red.... The envelopes are cute, I am not sure what I'm going to do with them since Im not planning on giving otoshidama, but it was yet another impulsive buy on my part. The deco seal is a jewel eito that is rainbow colored (red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, black). I LOVE the chibi pelight. It is seriously the size of your palm, and is super bright changing all eito colors (white instead of black). It's eito shaped, with mini eitos running diagonally across the whole thing, then in the center it says Kanjani8 2009-2010 on it. The bottom of the penlight base has a jewel shape... the only thing i dont like is that it doesn't have a strap.... I actually got too excited with the penlight at the beginning of the con and lost my battery cover... luckily we found it after the con was over. hahaha.

Someone on an Arashi comm tipped us off that we could start calling in for Nagoya results....
and it looks like I have to start saving money for the con!
I am taking my friend who lives in Mie prefecture with me because she's letting me stay at her place :D

We are sitting in the 前段 row T!!!!! It's the last row in the section, but the seats could be worse!!!!

So I went to see TegoMasu in Sendai on Friday... four of us ( , , and my Japanese friend) road tripped it up from Gunma (it only took 5 hours and cost us about 2000 yen each). I had paid for both my and a friend's memberships to apply for two tix each, hoping that either one of us hits... and then we end up both hitting. So we took two of our friends, who weren't really into TegoMasu before this con, to their first Johnny's concert.
After the concert, all four of us were in TegoMasu bliss!!!! It was seriously the best concert!!!!!! You know that someone is musically talented when you catch yourself no longer swaying to the music or frantically waving your uchiwa because you are mesmerized by the song.
We had a blast!!!!!
When we first got to Sendai, the first thing we did was check out where the venue was, so we could see how realistic it was to walk and how crazy the goods line was. Since it was the third day of Sendai, and the first two were a week ago, the line wasnt too bad.
We wanted to get goods before the con, so we tried to walk there after we checked in to our hotel.
Here's what I bought.
Everything is decorated with hand drawn pictures by both tegoshi and masu. It is really easy to tell who drew what... the hard thing is figuring out what tegoshi was trying to draw. hahahaha.
We decided it was too hot to walk there, although we couldve, so we caught the train to the venue once we got ready.
So, in previous entries I explained my frustration with the fact that 1. Both applications hit. 2. They hit for the day that I was going to be home in Hawaii and 3. One set was arena seats!!!! Then to top it all off, we were pretty bummed that the seats we got, both sets, were for the 3rd floor of this venue. Luckily, as you can see, I got front row of the 3rd floor, and the venue was waaay smaller than Yoyogi (Yoyogi fits around 11,000 and Sun Plaza Hall seats 2,000). We could see and hear them perfectly!!!

Some highlights were:
For those of you who watched the Domoto Kyodai episode with TegoMasu on it, Masu did his new hand gesture thingy that was decided on the show for him.
The acoustic set of Kushami and Sayonara Boku no Machi was awesome. Massu and his "Oh Love, love, love, love, love, love, loooove." with Tegoshi's harmonies were amazing!
Also, Hanamuke is just the cutest song ever... and if I could have them come to my wedding and sing it... I totally would.
Fantastipo was super cute and funny. They seriously love Tsuyoshi-kun!
There was one part where there was a cell phone on the screen that the lyrics were showing up from.. an once that song was over there were two cell phones on the screen where Tegoshi and Masu were texting each other back and forth... here was a bit of the audience participation. Tegoshi wanted everyone to say "Tegoshi aichiteru~!" and he would type "Se~no!" and then all of us would scream it. Then Masu said that we were all under Tegoshi's spell, so then he wanted to try it himself. He made everyone say "Gyoza" and "Suigyoza". hahaha. It was cute.
For the MC, they did an extended one since it was the last one in Sendai. Hmm.... they talked about the goods and how Tegoshi really put in a lot of effort this time. Masu told us that for NEWS goods meetings, Tegoshi is usually rather quiet and that the only goods that Tegoshi had thought of or put any input into was the little top hat pins for Winter Party Diamond. Then, the talked about the tour T-shirt and how they were originally going to make it so you could wear the shirt forward (Massu's drawing of two cats in a music note singing) or backward (Tegoshi and Masu's drawings). T they gave up on that because Masu said it would be too easy to realize who was a better artist, and that it would be sad for one of them. egoshi was a bit sad that he didn't help draw the picture on the front of the shirt. So they said that next time they will both work on each side of the shirt. Speaking of the drawings, Masu had to translate to us what Tegoshi was trying to draw. Unfortunately, he only told us about two of them. If you look at the photo of the goods, the first drawing on the top of the towel, is Tegoshi's drawing of a pokemon-like figure. Then, the third set of drawings, near the top left corner of the pamphlet are, no, not butterflies, but birds. bwahahahahaha. Tegoshi and Sakurai Sho should have a face off. They really wanted the things to be colorful, and they wanted people to say, "Isn't that person's clothes pretty bright!?" when they walked by someone who had the pink t-shirt and yellow towel on. I think that was the concept. They also talked about "Chicken Boy". Tegoshi was saying that he is the type, no matter what it is, not not like to put stuff off for later. So when writing the music for the song, it only took him two hours. Then, while Masu was on a trip, Tegoshi sent him the music and asked him to finish the lyrics over the weekend. Of course, Masu put it off for a while, jotting things down in his cell phone, before finally getting what he wanted. He then sent it to Tegoshi and asked him what he thought. But till this day, Tegoshi has yet to reply. Then Masu was a bit extreme and asked Tegoshi if he is the type that doesnt reply when people mail him birthday wishes. But Tegoshi said he does that right away. They also talked about the lyrics for "Share" that NEWS sings. Tegoshi said that while he was in Shibuya buying electronics, the words all of a sudden hit him, so he took out his pad of paper and wrote them down. While, again, Masu took a while to find the right words.
The first encore was the same as every other concert (by looking at reports) but since it was the last of six concerts in Sendai, they sang a second encore of "Zutto" which was the first song they sang together, the first unofficial TegoMasu song.
They came out for a third encore, but they told us that they had nothing prepared for it. So girls were yelling out, "sing accapella" but they just kinda talked to us and thanked us before leaving.
This time, we actually ate Beef tongue (Sendai's famous for it) and went to go see the castle ruins, where we saw a bunch of negaigoto written about TegoMasu, NEWS, Sakurai Sho, and even Kanjani and Kattun.
Oooh and I forgot to talk about it, but i got these lovely guys (uchi and ryo rangers!!!!) from
, and now real life friend. hehe. Thanks girl!
Yesterday I took off from work at around lunch time in order to get to Tokyo in time to see the 関ジャニ∞ Puzzle 2009 concert! This was my first K8 con, so I was pretty excited for it!
I actually went by myself, and although it's much more fun to go with friends, 関ジャニ∞ would by far be more fun by one's self than KAT-TUN... and even NEWS!
My seat was in Arena block A11. The stage this year was set up a bit different than usual concerts. The main stage (which is usually in the outfield area of the dome) was in the center of the Arena. So, usually A block means you are right up against the main stage... but this wasnt the case for this year's con. I did end up sitting 5 rows from one of the side stages, and like 7 rows back from the carts.
Here's my view of the center stage, and the "usual" main stage (the little gray area towards teh left of the screen).
It
was actually a cool set up because they had screens (like in a
basketball game) that went all the way around the stage (u can see the
black box thing floating) and then screens on the carts (which were
decorated with puzzle pieces) as well as around the dome. It just
sucked because the support beams for the main stage got in the way of
being able to see across the whole stage (which meant I lost out on a
lot of Ryo viewing *cries*).

The show started out with fireworks exploding and the color banners dropping to the floor. All of them were standing in these basket things (think of window cleaners and house painters), Maru and Tacchon were on my side, that dropped down from behind their colored banners. They were in these cute pink outfits *Uchi-kun!* singing Musekinin Hero. I really liked the metallic-ish blue/turqois suits they were wearing *Ryo-chan was sooo hot in it!*... actually, I liked all of their costumes. It was a pretty laid back costume lineup. Minus Yasu's in Kicyu, he wore a crazy lime green outfit complete with top hat! Towards the end of the show, they came out in regular outfits. Yoko was wearing a denim jumpsuit with a bright yellow baseball hat, Hina was wearing silver and a silver phedora, Ryo-chan was wearing a black shirt with a yellow one under it and jeans, Tacchon was wearing a white V-neck, and i forget what everyone else was wearing ( there are so many of them!). I do remember that at the end Maru was wearing the tour t-shirt, but no one else did.
For the Unit songs, Subaru was on the platform on my side *grr*. They actually sang it well. I could understand the words! haha. Kicyu was sooo adorable. It kind of makes me wish that they were in the video cuz the routine is so cute. Yoko rode on the cart across my section and said "Hello!". He was so cute in his pink shirt. At the end of the song, he ripped his shirt open when him and Yasu were together, and Yasu screamed like a girl. haha. It was funny. For YOU CAN SEE Maru was on my side of the stage. They were wearing the same jackets as they do in the PV, but I think it was red or orange paired with it.
The MC
I know people have posted about it before, but just for my own memory and benefit I'm posting a bit about it.
So the ∞Ranger skit section started with a VTR of what all of the guys had been up to. Green was sitting at a table with a bunch of different chinese dishes on it. He would eat, then sleep, and eat, and sleep. His pose picture was his mouth full with his eyes close, all smiles. Orange and Blue's were the shortest. Orange was lifting weights in the mirror, then he flexed his muscles for the camera *HAWT!* Blue was sitting in front of a vanity, and he looks into the mirror and puts lipstick on and does a chu pose. Nasu was on the second floor of a building's stairwell throwing money out at people because he was working or something like that. He posted with his fan of money. haha. Red was doing sumo, so he did the whole pre-fight leg lifting touching the ground ritual in his red butt tie underwear thingy. He was sooo tiny! Yellow bungee jumped (same VTR from HeyHeyHey? or was it Msta?) and his picture was just a still of him at the bottom of the jump (so boring!). Then Black was... planning something. haha. The video showed them all standing in their regular clothes with the matrix-y background, and then each of them changed to ranger mode. They used the screen behind the outfield for all seven, and then when the got "zapped" the guy's face flashed on the center stage screens. Only a black helmet... on a red suit! The two red rangers were argueing and everyone else was going crazy all over the arena. The new Red even saing the "∞Ranger!!!" Part of the song! haha. Black confessed that he is jealous of Red, and wants to be the singer. He started singing the first line to Kawaita Hana and at the "okure" part, he went crazy on trying to imitate Red's vibrado! hahahaha. I think he did it like five times, Red was getting angry.... And Black just was yelling that he didnt want to be one of the others. basically saying that Red is the sun, and the rest of them are the planets that revolve around him. And the other rangers were telling him that that wasnt true.
Then black said that he wasnt the only one that felt that way... " ne, ORANGE!" They all look at Orange, and he kinda gets this shy face, and starts stripping his Orange suit away to reveal..... YELLOW!!!!
Orange says that its tiring being Orange, so he wants to be kakkoii yellow now. And Green is giggling (pretty much throughout the whole skit... he actually has to excuse himself at one part) and Orange asks Green, "Don't you have something to share, too?"
Green strips off his suit to reveal Blue! He complains about being too tall and he wants to be small like blue, so people can call him kawaii. hahahahahahaha. So New Red, Blue, and Yellow are on one side, and Red, Blue and Yellow are on the other side, while Nasu is in the middle trying to calm everyone down. It turns into a battle. Red, Blue and Yellow run to the center stage and are complaining the whole time, while the new red new yellow and new blue go off. Nasu is torn, stuck at the stage. And then he complains that no one wants to be him.
Then, while Red, Yellow, and Blue are talking, an arrow gets shot at them... the arrow is carrying a message from New Red, Yellow, and Blue calling them out for a battle. The start doing a dance battle, kinda West Side Story-ish, and at one point in the song they start yelling out things in English (Hello! How are you! I am fine, and you? I am twenty five.) That part was funny, and totally caught me off guard. So yea, in the center are the new and old yellows, and all of a sudden Yellow takes a knife out. He is smiling looking at it *Eeeek Sousuke!* all evil and sexy, then he licks the knife. Seriously the hottest thing EVER!!!!! Then he goes to stab New Yellow, but Nasu jumps in the way and gets stabbed. He falls to the ground and Blue runs over telling him to hold on. Nasu dies. Then someone realizes that there are puzzle pieces all over the floor. They all grab a piece and Blue goes "Nasu, you're in the way." and pushes him off of his lap to get one. Then they run over to the outfield stage and there is a stand with a rainbow puzzle piece on the side. Theres a camera in the table, and each of them hovers over it and puts a piece in its place. Its a picture of the ∞Rangers (like the poster they are selling) and everyone is smiling (the poster is a bit more goofy). Nasu has the biggest smile. They look at the picture and get all sad because they used to be so happy together. Then they start talking crap about Nasu and his cheesy bad smile and teeth. haha. After a while of that, one of them notices that Yellow's piece is missing from the puzzle. At that point, Nasu sits up and says, "That's cuz Yellow saved me." and holds up the last piece of the puzzle. And I think he complained about being teased while they thought he was dead. Then they all decide that their original colors are best, a puff of smoke comes in front of New Red, Blue, and Yellow and they all "Magically" (but not, because the smoke didnt go up as high as it was supposed to, so they were all frantically ripping their suits off and smiling at us embarressed) turned back to their old colors. And the concert continues, with Nasu starting off "Donna ni hanarete tatte soba ni iru kara"
Yasu's hair is back to curly and BLONDE, Ryo got a trim (as he wrote in his jweb), Yoko's hair looks shorter than it does on the Quiz Show, and Tacchon
The disappointments of the concert... was definitely the fact that the mics kept going out. I think Hina and *EDIT: apparently Hinas kinda went out during the MC/dare song*
Yoko were the only safe ones last night! It was really cute because
when Maru's went out, Ryo ran over there to share his (headset) with
Maru. Then Maru lucky bastard got a kiss on the
forehead from Ryo! Tacchons mic went out when he was standing near me,
and he was NOT HAPPY about it at all. He didnt have a mic when he got
on stage, and then when his solo part came up, he was still soundless.
He was pretty upset everytime they switched cameras away from him.
Song wise, they were all pretty good, Ryo had some trouble (he
applogized for his voice cracking and he didnt sing his part at the
right timing), and I think Tacchon didnt sound too good on a few, but
it was overall greater than what I had expected because they were all
singing live. No lip synching! *yay!*
There were two things I noticed about Subaru. He is really short, and he has a really strong voice. Im not really a fan of vibrado, but he knows how to work what he's got. There was only one time where he was waaaay off with the music. He was so proud of his drawing on his sign board that he kept walking around the dome and showing it to everyone.
Ryo-chan, my love, was cute as always, but I didnt really get a lot of him on my side. I did luck out during the ∞Ranger skit... and he came across on the cart once... He was sooo cute! During the band section, he was really rocking out with his guitar. I thought he was pretty quite, but he's kinda like that in NEWS too...
Maru... is suuuuuper intense! He acutally has a very nice singing voice when he isnt making his weird voices, faces, and being silly. Like for the Unit song... HOT HOT HOOOOOOOOTT! I got a lot of Maru love on my side (could it be because I was on the orange banner side?), so I saw a lot of Maru-chan!
Tacchon... he was super hot too! Didn't realize how bad his complexion was (MatsuJun status) but hes so tall and such a good dancer, that I had a hard time not being like a mosquito to those neon light traps. When he danced on our stage, his hair was spraying water in a perfect ring, and he was making such cute "gomen ne" faces at all of us because of the mic problem. He opened up the band portion of the concert with a very hot drum solo... I hope he gets good enough to play and sing at the same time (I feel like he struggled a bit of that).
Yasu was soooo cute! I have to admit that when he came up on the VTR putting lipstick on.... I thought, this is not hot... its kinda gay... and all teh girls were screaming "kawaii!" there are just some things that this Hawaii girl will not be able to conform to. But he was cute. When the band set first started, he rode on the cart in front of my section playing the guitar to the side stage near me. That boy can play! It was pretty hot! Now I see the charm in Yasu.
Hina was super cute... I love him! He has bad skin too (shows theyre human, right?) but he was singing pretty well today. I have heard that he isnt the best, so I think he did better than my expectations were set.
Yoko was silly. I guess he knows he cant sing that well, so he was making very exaggerated sounds at times, and he even teased Subaru in the MC. He has a lot of energy, and during Kicyu he came through our section, and was so cool! Saying Hello!

agtoro for my bday, thanks honey cakes! ;) haha.The guys look great in the pamphlet. We were thinking that the cover was going to be some cool thing because it is layered, but it ended up just being different colors for each layer.
Ryo's file is super hot! One of my students is giving me the uchiwa (shes buying it when she goes to the Nagano concert).
And the Eco Bag is cool. The bag for the bag turns into a pouch that sits inside of the eco bag (did i use the word bag enough?). Silver with white ∞s and ranger color ∞ｓ.
The scrunchie sold out outside of the arena, but within the arena, at least at our gate, still had them. They are silver with orange rhinestones. The penlight is waaaay cute, but I didnt get one (i still dont know why i didnt). Its got the outer part of the 関 kanji for Kanjani∞, 門, with the ∞ in the center of that. The penlight is glittery, orange-yellow, and the light is yellow? It was waaay more sparkly and bright than last year's tour's penlight. I caught one of the streamers that were flying around, it's super cute! It says 2∞9 PUZZLE and has two ∞s made of rainbow puzzle pieces... (ill upload a picture of it later).
I really want to see them again someday.....
So I thought the concert was pretty awesome... it was my first Johnny's con, and there wasn't anything I could've asked for *except maybe Ryo or Tegoshi to be on the cart on our side, and not Koyama*. I was happy to see that Shige not only dyed his hair back to brown, but he also had a very nice haircut! (unfortunately, the pamphlet has bleached hair pix... with a weird middle part...)
Aaaaanyways, it started with a video intro with them all running all over (Tokyo, I'm guessing) and then they each show up in front of the camera, all dressed in their party clothes, and their names flash in front of them, kind of an introduction to the members. Massu was sooo cute cuz he was eating pie and a popsicle. hahahahaha. Later on, in the MC we find out that Tackey is the one who filmed and directed it. Then, they present the ring and say, "OMEDETOU!"
Then... the boys come rising up onto the stage in a diamond-shaped box, and start singing Happy Birthday. Ryo is soooo cute!!!! *as are the rest, but I'm partial* and then, they followed it by Weeeek.
☆After that, it was kind of a blur. But I do remember that they did sing:
♥Why (they did it with the whole "club" scene. Massu started playing pool, then Shige joined him and started singing. Then Pi and Koyama were by the bar and they did their parts, then Ryo and Tegoshi came last in the "lounge" area)

♥Forever (this is most likely going to be my favorite song on the new CD, minus the fact that Yamapi's sexy rap is ruined *but funny* by his EngRish lyris posted on the big screens of "Rib it 'forever'", which we are guessing should be "live it 'forever'".)
♥Ordinary (Ryo wrote this song, so I am guessing it will be his solo on the CD)
♥SNOW EXPRESS (all the fans went crazy when they transitioned from Mafuyu no Nagareboshi to this song. It was sooo cute! I'm glad they'll e releasing it on COLOR)
♥Fly Again (I'm pretty sure this was the last song of the concert.... it was pretty nice. But I was still in a white haze from Pi at that point)
♥Yamapi and Koyama *now known as KoYamapi* ended up singing a duet... I forget what it was called...
♥Massu sang "MaSuperman" which came with a comic that was pretty fun. He was singing about food, and the chorus said something about having a Nasu (eggplant) in his left hand and Shoyu (soy sauce) in his right. it was cute. he's too loveable.
♥Tegoshi sang "Ai no Matador" in the middle of the arena and was wearing a red animal print shirt, singing was AMAZING!!!!! and his dancing was pretty nice as well.
♥Ryo's solo was "Ordinary," off of the new album, and he wrote it! Even the lyrics on the screen were his. It is a very cute song, I forget everything, but it was cute.
♥TegoMasu sang "Ai Kasa", which was right before the medley of Mafuyu and Snow Express, so they were already dressed in their white snow jacket outfits. so hot!
♥and Shige's solo... was new!!! He was wearing this jumpsuit kind of thing, and had a star shaped tamboreen. it was awesome!!
the only weird thing was that for the oncore, they sang News NIPPON and Weeeek (again).
☆The MC... covered sooo many things!!!
♥First, Shige's pants zipper was waaay oversized, and he was playing with it... in a very inapropriate way *but i loved every minute of it*.
♥Tegoshi was kind of in a daze, and koyama kept giving him a hard time and appologizing to us because this kind of person got into the Entertainment business.
♥They talked about Tackey doing the filming and editing to their opening sequence.
♥ Yamapi is the one who decided to make the uchiwa plastic red
♥The only thing Tegoshi wanted to sing
♥Shige talked about his hair in the pamphlet and how after he did the photoshoot, he decided that he wanted to change his hair back to normal. Ryo and Koyama were giving him crap about it.
♥They also talked about Koyama staring in a butai next year, in the spring i think...
♥KoYamapi left the conversation early to get ready for their duet
♥They also teased Massu about his solo and asked him why he was eating in the opening video. And he said it was cuz everyone was being so cool, and when he tried it he said that he didn't look as cool, so he wanted to eat instead. Then he got an Onigiri from Ryo, but because they were wearing all white and black, it wouldn't stand out as much as the ramune popsicle and the cake.
After exiting, there were two floral arrangements, one from Johnny's Entertainment, and the other was from Greeeen.
Where we were sitting, we got a lot of Koyama... who is not my favorite, but it was balanced out with Pi coming right in front of us on the cart, and Massu and Ryo seeing us foreigners and freaking out waving at us like crazy people. They were all really on key and Tegoshi was sooo awesome! Shige may have seen us in the beginning, but it's hard to tell because he didnt stop in front of our section for very long. All of them loved seeing kids... maybe next time I will bring one of my students along with me so I can get some member love. hahahaha.
About the goods. I wanted to buy the ring at first. But when I got there, it was not as cool as I thought it was going to be. They were really pimping the ring during the concert. In fact, all of the boys were wearing it, and it was a present for the fans in the video.... but I just wasnt feeling it. It looked kinda tackey, only cool part was that it came in a cute red pouch and said news on the back part (inside of ur hand).
I ended up buying the tote bag, the muffler towel, and the pamphlet. The pamphlet is sooo pretty, and the candids they have in the insert are suuuuper cute (although there are a few wasted pages of random background). It's hard cover and there are stars on it (just like the muffler towel), and the writing on the cover is in a white glitter screen print. The tote bag is written in gold glitter, and there is a little NEWS tag (which you can see on the top left hadn corner).
Oh! and here's one side of my Uchiwa... in the blue lights *ooo!!! so pretty*
